W= e have just uploaded the "Fall Practice Meet" to Direct Athletics. This is an opportunity for swimmers new to Pointe Aquatics and USA Swimming (and their parents) to enter a meet on line a= nd get times.

P= arents should plan on helping with timing and marshaling.

O= ur more experienced swimmers are more than welcome to come cheer and time.

The meet will take place Saturday, October 3rd at 10 am at the GPN pool.&nb= sp;

I= t is only open to our swimmers---this is a "practice meet".

E= ntries will be accepted into Direct Athletics website until 8 pm October 1st (if y= ou miss the deadline, don’t worry, we will still put your swimmer in the meet, just email Coach Greg, poin= teaquatics@msn.com

Swimmers will show up at the pool for warm up at 10 AM.

W= e will have check-in sheets available (just like a real meet), seed the meet and p= ost the heats and lanes for the swimmers (and parents) to get an idea of how a = USA Swimming meet is conducted.

T= he meet will start around 10:40 AM.

Events will be as follows:
#1 mixed 8 and under 25 free
#2 mixed 10 and under 50 free
#3 mixed 12 and under 50 free
#4 mixed 8 and under 25 back
#5 mixed 10 and under 50 back
#6 mixed 12 and under 50 back
#7 mixed 8 and under 25 breast
#8 mixed 10 and under 50 breast
#9 mixed 12 and under 50 breast
#10 mixed 8 and under 25 fly
#11 mixed 10 and under 50 fly
#12 mixed 12 and under 50 fly
#13 mixed 8 and under 50 free
#14 mixed 10 and under 100 free
#15 mixed 12 and under 100 free

We recommend that swimmers swim no more than 3 events (as this meet will go quickly).
